With the client’s concept in mind, our head distiller will develop a unique formula, creating an artisanal spirit or house brand that aptly encapsulates the flavours & aromas the client had envisioned.

Our state-of-the-art micro-distillery is equipped to manufacture a variety of spirits, including Vodka, Gin, Rum, Brandy, Whiskey, Liqueurs and Spirit Aperitifs.

Through the vast network of suppliers we have developed over the years, we are able to professionally guide our clients through the process of sourcing bottles, closures, labels, outer & inner packaging, etc., in order to bring their brand to life.

This process can often be tedious and timely, but we have a streamlined approach that ensures our clients a shorter timeline in getting their products to market. Our longstanding relationships with our suppliers also allow us to offer cost-effective pricing in this highly competitive market.

Contract Distillation

Our state-of-the-art mashing, fermentation and copper distillery equipment allows us to manufacture premium, bespoke spirits from selected locally sourced raw materials – A service that is unique to our Distillery.

Our production line is equipped to manufacture a variety of distilled spirits, including Vodka, Gin, Rum, Brandy, Whiskey, Liqueurs and Spirit Aperitifs for domestic or export distribution. Bringing the unique taste and style of a South African distillery to the rest of the world.

Bottling Service

Our fully equipped bottling & labeling lines allow us to professionally bottle and label products, while our well-trained staff carefully package the finished product with the utmost precision and care, ensuring a premium finish to each product.

Our production line is constantly evolving and upgrading as we develop, manufacture and export new product lines.

Consultation Service

Over the years, our team has gained in-depth and practical knowledge regarding the distillation, production and distribution processes.

SOS (Special Operating Store) Warehousing

Large volumes of imports, or manufactured excisable products, are subject to equally large taxes. The Midlands Distillery offers our clients a strategic SOS (Special Operating Store) Warehousing solution that improves cash flow and efficiency throughout the import and export procedures.

We provide storage solutions at our Distillery on location, allowing brands to manage their tax expenses over long periods of time. This ensures our international clients benefit from the option of strategically accumulating significant quantities of dutiable (taxable) imports and manufacturing at once while declaring the goods in increments as needed.

Local, Regional and International Distribution And Warehousing

Midlands Distillery offers professional warehousing services to all our manufacturing clients. We believe contract distilling should offer competitive links to distribution outlets throughout South Africa and regionally throughout Africa.

Through strategic partnerships, we are able to offer our clients an upper hand when it comes to both local and international distribution. We are steadily growing our sales & distribution footprint with both our in-house brands and our premium export brands.

Our in-house sales representatives work tirelessly to bring our expertly crafted product lines to all corners of South Africa, and both our in-house and export brands have established presence in Europe, the USA, and Asia.

Importing And Exporting

From packaging to road freight to importing and exporting – The alcohol and spirit industry is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the world. Not only that, regulations and compliance requirements differ from country to country.

This is why we have partnered with AH4Export consultants to ensure the safety and compliance of our international shipments. With AH4Exports’s 14 years of experience as wine and spirit experts, we are able to eliminate many of the logistical challenges associated with exporting spirit brands.

This ensures that we can instead focus on the premium quality production and packaging of our distilled spirit brands.
